What will you learn?
Our lives tend to be rather rushed and hurried these days and it's difficult to find time to relax.
In this half day workshop, you'll learn to:
- understand what's happening to your body under stress;
- understand your stress triggers;
- how to manage your stress more effectively;
- learn some relaxation techniques that you can use on a regular basis including some simple meditation techniques.
- some alternative remedies that are proven to aid with relaxation and stress reduction
- You'll also learn to understand your breathing. As a professional singer and vocal coach (as well as a hypnotherapist), I do know a thing or two about the breath and how to control it - and with a far more profound understanding than you will gain in an exercise class! Sometimes just knowing how to breathe in a less laboured way can help you to sleep better and to have more energy because you're actually filling your lungs with air, rather than just the top half of them (hyperventilating).
