Individual Tarot Readings Tarot Parties and Tarot course

What happens in a reading?
The tarot is often misunderstood.  It is a powerful tool for divination but not in a frightening way.  Any form of divination is first and foremost based on the pattern that you have created by the choices that you've made up to the point when you have your reading.  The cards then project that pattern into the future, providing you with an insight into what will happen if you carry on using the pattern that you've created thus far.

So, the cards are able to provide profound insights into your own behaviour and choices and with its uncanny knack for hitting the nail on the head and you can ask specific questions to problems or issues that you have.

About Me
I have found the tarot not only to be of great benefit to me personally, but also to the many people that I have read for.  I've been reading tarot cards since the 1970s, having always been interested in them and various other forms of divination, but it is the tarot that I feel most at home with, having been brought up on a diet of a  grandmother who was a pianist in the silent movies as well as a medium and clairvoyant (she also read palms, tea leaves, cards and her crystal ball!) and a psychic mother.

Origins of the tarot
The origins of the tarot are unclear, however, there are claims of its having begun in Ancient Egypt, while others suggest that it started within the mystery cults of the Mithras during the first few centuries AD.  Others believe it originates in Celtic times or at the time of the Holy Grail romantic poetry during the Middle Ages.
I use two tarot decks, one, the Mythic Tarot, I've been using since 1988.  This deck is based on Greek Mythology and is the deck that I use most frequently.  I'm also starting to use a new deck - the Druidcraft Tarot, which is based on Celtic mythology.
